Fr Thomas Keating taught “Divine Therapy” through “opening to the Presence and Action of God within”.  His core contemplative practice is Centering Prayer; mine is Energy Healing.   As a contemplative method, energy healing helps us connect with the present moment and encourages transformation. With mindful intention, practitioners can support holistic wellness and spiritual growth, following the modelling of Jesus. Let’s reflect on a couple of sessions....

Legacy Giving

“Everything is breathing and receiving and giving back from everything else at all levels of being … fundamentally this is the dance – it is the only language in which God can speak the word ‘love’”.

~ Cynthia Bourgeault, The Divine Exchange

Legacy Giving is a stewardship practice where you identify in your will a specific gift or bequest to go to a charity of deep meaning to you so that your support of that charity can continue through your estate. Legacy Giving is an opportunity for contemplatives from all walks of life to contribute gifts to TCS that offer a positive impact on the contemplative activities of the Society while having no impact on your daily financial considerations.

To explore making a Legacy Gift to The Contemplative Society or to identify that you have already made a Legacy Gift to TCS in your will, contact us in confidence at admin@contemplative.org to arrange for a private conversation.

TCS is a non-profit society and registered charitable organization in Canada run by a volunteer board and a dedicated circle of contemplatives. It was formed in Victoria, BC, Canada in 1997 to serve an emerging contemplative renewal, and to support and spread the teachings of Cynthia Bourgeault and other distinguished Wisdom teachers. We lovingly carry forward this work, adapting to the changing needs of the present and future, while anchoring ourselves in the ancient Wisdom tradition.

We would love for you to join us as a member and to help sustain and build our offerings with a donation of any amount.

Please visit our website to find out more about membership & support options.
