Pip, lost and found:
The reconciling force of an adventuring cat(a mostly true story).
By Paula Pryce

Pip went missing. Then in his own way, Jeremy did too.
Jeremy was the young man who loved and fed her. He lost himself with the loss of Pip, but after a while, something unexpected happened. Jeremy learned that reconciliation only really comes when we give everything away.
It began like this: Jeremy moved back home. He had long been a nomad, searching out holy places in the desert, by the seashore, in wide grassy plains. Along the path, he had come across Pip, a feisty grey kitten making her living in the rubbish heaps. Jeremy brought Pip when he at last returned, half a world away.

What is Visio Divina? The Ancient Practice of Praying with Art.
View TCS's newest video to discover Visio Divina ("Divine Seeing"), the ancient contemplative practice of praying with images and art. While Lectio Divina teaches us to listen to God through scripture, Visio Divina invites us to encounter God through seeing. Learn the history of this "Bible of the poor," why images are a powerful doorway to the sacred, and the four steps to begin praying with your eyes. This introductory video sets the foundation for TCS's upcoming video on a Visio Divina guided practice. Visio Divina is perfect for Lent or any season where you feel called to slow down and behold.

With gratitude and thanks to Nicholas Fournie, Communications Co-ordinator for TCS, who researched and crafted this heart-warming article.

TCS is a non-profit society and registered charitable organization in Canada run by a volunteer board and a dedicated circle of contemplatives. It was formed in Victoria, BC, Canada in 1997 to serve an emerging contemplative renewal, and to support and spread the teachings of Cynthia Bourgeault and other distinguished Wisdom teachers. We lovingly carry forward this work, adapting to the changing needs of the present and future, while anchoring ourselves in the ancient Wisdom tradition.
We would love for you to join us as a member and to help sustain and build our offerings with a donation of any amount.
