Marty was one of our three Hong Kong delegates, and this is an amazingly thorough and thoughtful account of the work done in Assisi last week….plus some super photographs as well.

It features an interview with Cynthia that is weaved with a script in which we attempted to take her insights and apply them to education.

We’re very pleased to have had the time to try to both capture Cynthia’s energy and spirit and apply it to the important goal of educating the next generation.

My husband John and I had the very great privelege and pleasure to be on this retreat. I didn’t get to meet Marti, but am so astonished by his ability to summarize the many sophistocated points and teachings. The photos are just gorgeous too. With deep thanks to Marti for this gift.

The Assisi retreat was clearly a big moment for me personally, as you can see in my blog summary. My colleague who joined me in Assisi, Richard Friedericks, and myself are working with Cynthia to put together a 10-15 minute video of an interview we did with her during the week. We hope to make it available on my blog, and will certainly share with Cynthia. If all goes well, we hope to have it ready in another 10 days.

This blog summary of the Assisi retreat is all that Cynthia promises, and more. I am re-reading it for enrichment as we are now well into the liturgical season of Ordinary Time. I have posted a more detailed response on the blog site.
