Wisdom's Journey to the West: The Contemporary Appearance of the Magi

Sacred geography describes two vast realms - an Orient and an Occident. These twodivide not only the earth, but the cosmos. Christianity exists in both realms. As at thebeginning when Light Appeared out of the East and led the three Kings to the side of Christ,now at perhaps the end, new light is appearing as wisdom through its Magi and Sages toguide the West in its time of darkness. Cynthia Bourgeault and Lynn Bauman will lead this retreat in an exploration of thesemetaphors and images as they apply to our contemporary world. Participants are askedto join the journey of the Sages through time in following Wisdom's Light to the Occident. How we undertake that journey and align ourselves anew to Wisdom in the Christian West will be the topic of this three day seminar. Retreat limited to 70 participants. Wisdom School
