The Secret Embrace Silent Retreat at Garrison Institute

This will be a silent Centering Prayer immersion retreat, most suitable to those with an established Centering Prayer practice and prior familiarity with Thomas Keating’s teachings on The Human Condition and The Divine Therapy. Experienced practitioners on other meditational paths are also warmly invited to join this deep dive into Thomas Keating’s final teachings on unity consciousness and nondual awakening.

This retreat will feature three daily periods of meditation, morning and afternoon teaching by Cynthia Bourgeault based on an in-depth exploration of Father Thomas’s final work The Secret Embrace, and daily time for group reflection and synthesis. We will be particularly alert to the prophetic and collective implications of this unitive awakening for our own shattered times.
