"The Leadership in Contemplative Practice Workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the dynamics of ministry in the Christian spiritual tradition. The workshop helped me think deeply about what it means to do ministry from a contemplative standpoint. I was challenged to look at my own practice of ministry and confront honestly the degree to which my ministry is at times driven by external forces and by my own ego needs. This is an important workshop for the church encouraging those in ministry to find ways to more deeply integrate the inner spiritual disciplines and practices of the Christian life with our practice of ministry. Anyone who desires to follow the deep inner call to minister responsively to the hidden stirrings of God's Spirit will benefit from this opportunity to grow and be refreshed in their awareness of God's working in their life and ministry."
