Bruno Barnhart frames humanity’s current paradigm shift as a movement from an outward to an inward perspective. He describes the collective shift away from a predominantly rational and secular orientation toward an awareness of our inner spiritual source of being: a rediscovery of incarnation and an entry into the Paschal mystery. He speaks candidly about the obstructions to this awakening, including the institutional church, and highlights the significance of interfaith exchanges, particularly the contribution of Eastern meditative traditions to the renewal of inward practice in the West. Fr. Bruno Barnhart (1931–2015) was a Camaldolese monk, priest, and widely respected teacher of Christian wisdom.
