Jesus replied, “Now the hour has come for the Chosen One to be glorified. The truth of the matter is, unless a grain of wheat falls on the ground and dies, it remains only a single grain; but if it dies, it yields a rich harvest.” John 12:24 IB
It is the start of Holy Week, and everywhere on these traditional terirtories of the Lek’wungen speaking peoples the earth is waking from it’s long cold, wet and windy winter. The yellow daffodils and blue camas have broken through the frigid ground and the cherry blossoms are opening to the Light to begin a new cycle of abundant verdancy. The trays in the greenhouse are seeded and waiting to reveal the glory of first leaves peeking up from the dark soil. Amidst the harsh realities of our lives, and the painful limitations that threaten us, Jesus encourages us to contemplate a vision of a glorious rich harvest that even death cannot deny.
In the next few weeks, we will be announcing some exciting new events and activities that we have been seeding.
We’re working on a Retreat Day on Zoom, scheduled for July 23, 2022, with Dr. Douglas Christie, author of The Blue Sapphire of the Mind: Notes for a Contemplative Ecology. The Retreat will explore how contemplative wisdom can be practiced in the context of the ecological place we inhabit, and the dire climate reality we face. More information on that soon!
The plans for the Retreat with Cynthia Bourgeault in September of 2022 are close to being ready for your registrations. There are some details that still need to be worked out, but we are confident that within the next couple of weeks we will have more news for you.
We’re working on more events and opportunities to support our contemplative community and practice.Stay Tuned!
Blessings this Holy Week and to the Joy of Resurrection,

Thank You for your Support!
It is only with the support of our members and community that we are able to do what Cynthia calls “good planetary work”: providing support and resources for contemplative practitioners around the world and helping to promote the work done by local and international teachers. Our deepest thanks to all who have donated and support this work!
