Notice to the public

The Contemplative Society invites you to attend our Annual General Meeting, a great opportunity to connect with your fellow contemplatives. Everyone is welcome, but only members in attendance can vote. Desserts, coffee, and tea provided!

If you are interested in electing or appointing members to be our directors and helping The Contemplative Society make important decisions about our future, we invite you to consider becoming a member. Additionally, members will help us to approve our new set of bylaws, outlined in the motion and download below (please review before attending!): 

Motion: Be it resolved that the draft bylaws, as circulated in the notice of meeting, be adopted in full, excepting any grammatical or formatting errors. Proposed revision of bylaws (103 kb PDF)

We strongly encourage you to engage in this process in order to align TCS’ future with the vision of our community. If you are already a member, we will be notifying you in advance to renew your membership if applicable. To become a member or renew your membership now, visit our Support Us page. There will also be an opportunity to do so in person.

We encourage you to help reduce toxic emissions by using alternative forms of transportation, rather than driving. If you need to drive, consider carpooling! Parking is FREE on Sundays.
