A beautiful and gentle workshop to learn the meditation practice of Centering Prayer. Through silence and an inner gesture of letting go, we learn to experience Sacred Presence beyond words, emotions, and thoughts, and to release our attachment to the egoic perspective. The practice cultivates a deep relationship with sacred reality, and opens us to compassion and inner peace.
This workshop is free and open to everyone! It will give you a powerful personal tool for you to navigate the complexities of life. No previous experience necessary – come as you are!
Join Henri Lock, United Chaplain at the University of Victoria’s Multifaith Services and Miranda Harvey, Administrator of The Contemplative Society, as we explore the teachings of Thomas Keating and Cynthia Bourgeault that shape this practice. To reserve your spot, please register via this form.
