The musical mode used for the chant is Middle Eastern. Brian is a member of the Kamloops Contemplative Group in Kamloops, BC.
Words and music from the recording: “Songs of Presence: Contemplative Chants for the New Millennium – A Learning CD” produced by Praxis and All Saints’ Episcopal Church. Body gestures from Lynn C. Bauman at Praxis: Resources for Spiritual Formation and Contemplative Living (available from www.praxisofprayer.com).
